Lenovo has been good in the past, but they've been having serious issues lately, especially with consumer machines. The hinges on my Y410p are failing; this is a known problem that Lenovo refuses to fix. One of my friends has a Y40- a newer model- with a glitchy screen and failing battery. And then there's the Yoga with the screws falling out. This is just my personal experience, but add to that the recent malware controversies and there is good reason to avoid a formerly good brand.Princess Viscra Maelstrom wrote:huh, it's the opposite here. i've heard good things about Lenovo, but bad things about ACER. that kind of confuses me. As far as I know, the Thinkpads are still decent.
