My only problem with this is they cut what is one of the best imperial characters from the star wars cannon, grand admiral Thrawn. He would be a much better villain for this trilogy of movies than random sith guy #24, making it like a split from the old star wars cannon where instead of being stabbed in he back by a nogihiri assassin, he instead completely dismantles the new republic. This would cause the survivors of the new republic to form a second rebellion, and the main characters flee into hiding, allowing for the film trilogy and the old expanded universe to still exist together but tell a different story.

If I do give a major spoiler here, will I get an admin warning? :P Hehehe...

Ouch, that's quite harsh...it almost likens spoiling to plagiarism or flameposting. But the spoilers are pretty much out on the rest of the Internet anyway.

I agree, that is harsh. In reality, it's meant to be likened to rape, murder, arson and rape.

Sitting alone in the hallway during lunch right now. It's a 3 day week, because it's almost winter break. I have to get ready to cover my ears whenever people I know watched SW7 show up, because they give out spoilers. The people at my table are yelling them out just to be assholes. I still have one day to go. For my own safety, I won't come back to this thread until I've watched it.

I watched this twice. I actually have an updated opinion about the movie but it SORT of can't be expressed without being a bit mild spoiler-y so I'll just put it inside here, DO NOT OPEN unless you don't care:
Spoiler:
In a mood for some Star Wars Doom mods, there was one I played a looong time ago, it was a ZDoom-based mod but I can't for the life of me remember what it was... >_< Anyone know what I'm talking about?

it's just a shame that the way the mod is designed it's literally just "Doom with a Star Wars skin." which kind of kicks me out of the immersion when i realize my blaster rifle acts exactly like a shotgun. story-wise, though, it's probably the best effort to be found.

wasn't there some mod called Star Wars: Chibi Rebellion? i haven't played that one but it seemed to be pretty good.
