Most Linux users I've come across are quick to come up with excuses when major security holes are found in their systems. Realistically, no system is completely secure. Nor idiot proof, either. You'd be surprised how many people completely ignore what should be obvious, like not giving their normal account admin rights (or sudo without root password, in the case of *nix).
