Before posting your Resource, please make sure you can answer YES to any of the following questions:
  • Is the resource ENTIRELY my own work?
  • If no to the previous one, do I have permission from the original author?

The map I made is more realistic than the original, but that's intentional. I.e. having a map that's nothing but a blurry splash of green and blue would not work at this resolution. :roll:

It has been thought of, many many times and there's been quite a few attempts. But none of this caliber and quality. It is long and tedious work, going from 64x64 to 128x128 may not seem like much but there is a hell of a lot more pixels to deal with.

I should read the OP more. Anyways, Some quick n' dirty resizes. I guess that leaves the red hell rock left.

I am in regular correspondence with Laz Rojas, and will ask him if he has any stuff from his Mac Wolf3D scenarios that he's willing to share if that helps anyone.

I'm currently working on it, I'll post it here after I am finished.

EDIT: I think it's done for now, the grime areas are a little rigid around some bits so feel free to touch it up.

I also did the prison cell with the skeleton in it.

I guess it will be nice to repost my MAC BJ here, I still have never finished the last 3 jump frames because I have a huge amount of trouble with getting the pose to look right amongst other things (needs blood and more tears on his shirt). I used the Officer as a base with a mix of the SS/Officer's/BJ hud face and Dr. Schabbs shirt if anyone is curious how it was done.

One thing that kinda bothers me with the BJ sprite is that he looks freakin' pissed! Like someone rubbed him the wrong way. Isn't he supposed be make a "leap of joy"?

I sorta had a problem with that too, I just assumed he was gritting his teeth like the mac SS since both of their faces in the PC version look very similar. And I couldn't draw a grin on his face properly either.

(Plus I wouldnt blame him for being pissed at the nazis either)

My solution in the HD patch was to just have the last frame repeat moving upwards. Looks a bit weird but it'll do until someone, hopefully, finishes it.
