I think it could be changed to "Wolfenstein 3D 128x128 resources thread" and allow sprite edits and other miscellaneous stuff, since there is still quite a few missing other than walls.

It took a while, but I finally found the original photo which the big picture of Hitler was taken from.

Yup, that photo is definitely it.

Anyhow, here be found the decoration sprites of Wolf3D: http://www.spriters-resource.com/pc_com ... eet/29106/

And here is what I have so far:
Spoiler:
These are ones I consider faithful and mostly finished. I've left out a few that i'm not fond of and believe needs to be re-done.

I am not sure if you should be fixing the green colors like that. Maybe replacing the palette would be a better option?

I'm curious about the origins of that knight armor suit. The MAC port IIRC already had a Hi-res version. but I've never seen that one before unless it was from one of the more obscure ports.

What are you referring to? The oil drum?

Its from some mod I can't remember now, I think its by Laz Rojas. Its a great improvement over the old one, which was basically just a blown-up version of the original 64 by 64 version.

EDIT: Found it! It's from Spear of Longinus, Clubbey I think the authors name is. So credits for those objects would go to id Software, Laz Rojas, DoomJedi, Clubbey and myself.

Yes. But I already realized that it's not so simply.

The sprite itself, as used in-game, uses the PC Wolf3D palette. I did this because this palette has brighter and greater range of greens. You would think that the palette would be the same between the original PC version and the Macintosh port, but this is not the case. While similar, there are some notable differences.

Great work so far on those missing textures, just be sure you don't do a lot of double-work as I've already got a load of 128x128 walls in the hi-res patch. Some are good, some need work. Throughout this thread I've pointed out the ones that are still missing or ones that needed improving.

I did that a lot, and probably I will continue to do so. =P Sometimes you have to look at your own work on another day to have a better view of what can be improved.

That picture of the map seems to be of the English Channel. That will make things easier.

Hmm, I never thought about it that much. I always just assumed it was some random map. Eagerly awaiting your results :)
