The idgames archive is looking for a new maintainer.

If it's not ZDoom, it goes here.

We're clearly not getting anywhere, then. Oh well!

To steer things back on topic, over at Doomworld it seems three major candidates have been proposed: Fraggle, Bloodshedder, and The Green Herring. Personally, I like all three, they all have the right mind set to work on a project like this.

I'm fine with all three as well. Personally prefer Fraggle, but hey. That's great - I hope this means the /newstuff Chronicles resumes. That's how I find some good hidden megawads.

If it counts for anything, I'd vote "all of them!"

Little bump to keep the non-doomworld-dwellers on this forum updated:
I'm fairly sure that some of you are already aware but it's very likely that Ty's deceased since the end of July.
Seems like they're going to use the main administrators to hold out in the meantime, really wishing them luck on finding someone as talented. Ty's going to be hard to replace.
/edit This also just made it to the doomworld front page news, so this is confirmed. Still quite sad to lose someone that important to the community.

What I would give for a 21 plasma rifle salute at a time like this.

*Takes hat off*

Bloody damn shame. R.I.P, Ty. You were a golden idol of the Doom community. And my prayers go out to hs family as well.

This truly is a sad day :-(
