If it's not ZDoom, it goes here.

There are definitely rockets coming out of those, yes. The designs are a little weird, though. Not bad, mind, but weird.

Bad comparison. Halo 4 is terrible.
Halo 4 ROCKS!!!    8-) 8-) 8-)

Ok ok, Halo 1 was awesome, but I got traumatized for playing that, since every 10 minutes the game would crash ;--;

OFF: wildweasel is watching me

OK ONTOPIC :blergh: , I hope this time Bethesda will allow people from internet to see what id did, and not like last time...

returning IT :
I hope, with Doom 4, id Software will return to the origins of Doom (no regenerating health, anyone? :) ).

Stuff from original Doom that should be in Doom 4 if id's returning to its roots:
  • Health and armor pickups (Wolfenstein: TNO had an unusual incremental health regeneration system as well as temporary overcharging, though it's not really ideal for Doom)
  • Teleporters
  • Keys to find and unlock certain doors
  • Switches to open doors and do other stuff
  • Power-ups and spheres (Supercharge, Berserk, etc.)
  • Inventory items (computer area map, radiation suits, etc.)
  • Secret areas
  • E1M1 secret level from the original Doom
  • Non-linear level design for exploration (not a cruddamn linear scripted corridor)

From what I've heard from id Software reps, they're likely taking that route already.

I don't care if it sucks, or doesn't. I'm buying this game, and no one and nothing is going to stop me.

Realistically I think it's safe to say this game will be kind of like the 2 new Wolf games.

Yeah i honestly think that it's really hard for the to fuck this up, Wolfensten The New Order was a very enjoyable game and it set a standard for the "retro" IPs

Hell, take TNO's gameplay, give it non linear maps, less hitscan enemies, no stealth, even faster sprint and it'd already be DooM for me.

Got any particular reasons for that, or did you just want to write a three word post?

wildweasel wrote:Nah, you know what, I'm tired of game devs releasing teasers for trailers. Or countdown timers for teasers for trailers. A teaser needs to have some kind of build up, or it doesn't have any impact. The action in this video went so fast that I didn't even manage to see the Revenant and had to wind it back.
Perhaps it's their way to remind us they are still working on this game?

Not going to insulting but, What planet are you from. Its a globe trotting bombastic adventure though a nazi occupied earth and moon. With great villains, protagonist, and supporting characters.
