Selected screenshots from the mega-pack

A little more convenient than the 8MB zip file, these are some of the best screenshots from the megapack uploaded individually.

Looks good, particularly the base interior shots.

Unless I'm crazy, the palette looks slightly lighter in the blue colors, like in RTC...

All in all, pretty cool. Looks like it's coming along quite nicely.

Those brown marble-lookin' textures are pretty neat! Is it possible that you could point out where you got 'em?

I like the shots a lot :) Fitting colors and style make up for nice locations!

First of all, the palette is from Enjay's Marine Assault, based on suggestions by Fraggle (I asked Enjay for permission a long time ago). It is basically identical to the RTC palette (which was made by Fraggle) except that the greens are also changed as well as the blues and light reds.

Second, the brown marble texture comes from the KZIZD resource wad, although it was never used in KZIZD.

Thanks a lot for the compliments. I've put a lot of effort into the architecture and style, which is basically how I think The Shores of Hell should have looked.

Well, Fredrik actually. At least the first two letters are the same. ;)

The shots do indeed look really cool. I like maps that try and capture the intended feel of "Shores of Hell". I think it is a great concept but unfortunately id stopped short of fully realising it in the Episode2 maps.

Pablo/Dochist, however has done a lot to redress the balance over the years.

They came with Skulltag, and I started this project in December '03, long before most other people started using them.

I'm considering asking Deathbringer if I can use his Fire Imp for the Dark Imp sprites.

I don't mind Dark Imps myself, besides I don't use them in my current megawad. Imps of their colour have much more health than the standard imp and that's all.
