I recently played GRAW 1 and 2 on PC and I think the CoD series should look to those games for a little inspiration.

If the zombie-mode is gonna be good, I'll wait a year or so and see if I can find a steam-key for a low price, like I did with BO2.

The trailer sort of pissed me off, though. It's like they copied Deus Ex: Human Revolution's initial trailers and teasers and introductory plot altogether verbatim.

You can get it on PC, and graphically it's not too demanding. Definitely still one of the best modern military shooters out there; has some moments that are actually disturbing, shocking, and thought-provoking without being "omg so edgie n durk" like the later ones were/are.Viscra Maelstrom wrote:i'd go and play MW1 at some point since i've actually heard good things about it. too bad my 360's disc-drive died a couple of months ago, though.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 revealed.
I'd say my disinterest is not so much "hate towards new games" as a general fatigue from Call of Duty's typical gameplay template. I've never liked how the campaign scripting works, there has never been very much reason to play a campaign more than once (especially since they did away with the unlockable goodies that 4 and WaW had), and I've never been much of an online gamer. I know online play is pretty much the only reason anyone really buys the CoD games anymore, so the campaign modes are getting less and less emphasis put on them.HazeBandicoot wrote:I'm actually interested in this, i hold no hate towards new games.

That's hilarious. I love it when creators/companies/brands/competitors play off each other like that.MarisaKirisame wrote:Actually, on the topic of Deus Ex, this happened.

Meh, who am I trying to fool. Another umpteenth Call of Vérpistike clone, with slightly better graphics for the hardware lobby. Let me guess what we'll get this time.
- 2 hours of mind-bogglingly, nail-chewingly intense action of shooting enemy soldiers with run-of-the-mill weapons
- Story? What's that, really? Oh yea...you mean, "go there and kill things"? There is your story. Now go there and kill things!
- Events scripted up to the eyeballs
- "Press any key to win" difficulty
- Tons of noobs and cheaters online
Bleh. I'm off to play some Tyrian 2000. See you at Savara!
Press X to kill the Icon of Sin
Seriously, I've never played a CoD game. Is it really that bad? The graphics look decent for a modern game.
W-wait! No! N-no! They're coming! The fanboys are coming!
