Thanks for the info.I think i can have fun with sunlust and speed of doom. :D .I should have tested this with those megawads.About the Alien,can you make him give that one shot bazooka from brothers in arms mode and some one time use unique weapons/items?like a wand that fire eggs to turn enemies to chicken(1-3 shot max),a flying jetpack to fly for a limited time,a time bomb; random stuff,you know :thinking: :thumb: .Also make him drop few items.he drops too much items.

Yes, you can edit with SLADE tool the mod alpha values in the Powerup.Color properties from each powerup class. Here you can read more info about this feature.

And now talking about the mod itself... I announce that there is a new update available in shape of Revision 9b, which unlike the previous 9a that only included few minor bugfixes, this new one brings some more remarkable changes, specially for your already huge weapons arsenal, hehe... :plasma: :rocket:

The changelog, you ask? Of course, if you wanna check more details, please just keep reading:
  • - As mentioned about it before, a total of three new killing machines have been added to your current armory, which as usual they might be quite helpful through your infernal odysseys:
    • - Boulder Howitzer: are you fed up with those damn stoney enemies that throw rocks at you all the time? Wouldn't you like to pay them -and many other foes- with the same currency? If your answer is yes, you are in luck, because with this revolutionary UAC invention, you will be able to shoot huge boulders and furthermore, in two possible ways. Thanks to its powerful air-impact cannon and its almost instantaneous heating system, with the new Boulder Howitzer you can choose between shooting immense bouncing stones with which to bust the heads of those hateful monsters, or instead launching tremendous incandescent rocks whose temperature is so high that they blow up within seconds of being released, burning everything they touch... even yourself, so be careful and don't get too excited when using it. Finally, it is worth mentioning that if you manage to find one of these toys, you must have enough Gasoil reserves to use it, and remember also that the secondary firemode consumes twice as much ammo than the primary one.

      - Opti-Maser Ballista: yeah, you have read that right... Why 'maser' and not 'laser'? Although they sound almost the same and since they are quite similar technologies, they should not be confused. In fact, the word derives from the MASER acronym, which means Microwave Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. But leaving aside the scientific explanations, it should be noted that this deadly weapon -also produced by the evil UAC hands, how not- actively has the aforementioned technology, which is more lethal than it seems. This ultra-modern type of crossbow is equipped with a rechargeable energy battery that stores and releases dangerous arrow-like beams, and also with remarkable accuracy, which can even be further amplified thanks to its attached sniper scope. If you have very good aim, this weapon can be really effective and dangerous in your hands, so don't miss the opportunity to get one, even if it is necessary to be bought!

      - [CLASSIFIED] (Ups... Sorry guys, but it seems that I have been denied permission to speak of this third weapon, as it is a matter of top secret... All I can say is that it's a replica of a powerful weapon that belonged to a prominent special police officer who was part of an American mega-corporation whose name and location I am not allowed to mention... I cannot give more data right now, but perhaps by chance you can imagine it...) :ninja:
    - Included some updated graphics for the Black Hole Maker weapon, plus a few minor improvements in its behaviour. (Thanks to Gothic from Realm667).

    - Updated the HUD for compatibility with the new featured weapons.

    - Some other minor bugfixings and code optimizations.
That was all for now mates! By the way, and if everything goes as expected, this might be for sure the last update of the H-Project for this present year, because I have planned to make some additions to my other Heretic mod, to which I have not paid much attention these last weeks... :P

So then... Next stop, year 2022! :joker:

Loving the new stuff, took a break from doom for a little while but now im back on the level and couldnt be having more fun with the updates here and with complex doom, thanks for keeping one of my favorite mods perfect!

Edit: ive also neglected to mention, but as of my latest playthrough with this mod, ive noticed that the "grapple and float" keys are simultaneously bound to the "toss grenade and toss mine" buttons, making them a little less fun to use as you may expect, even if i try to use just the grenade and no movement keys, they are both linked to weapon state 3 and 4, making it impossible to separate them. this is the only issue ive ever seen with this mod, sure itl be gone in the next revision. just thought it was worth a mention in case im the first to do so.

That is an already known issue with the JP Special Powers 3-in-1 addon, so please DO NOT use it with the latest revision 9 of the mod, because it's not currently compatible with it.

Regarding the mod, let's say it is currently 'on hiatus' state... TBH, I decided a few time ago to take a break after quite intense work of coding and modding, taking advantage of the fact that now the mod is more or less well consolidated...

However, I'm still brainstorming about it and planning some new features behind the scenes, so this means that a future update is perfectly possible, although at the moment I can't determine exactly when it will be released. So please I ask for a little patience, because in the end, it will come... Will come for sure. :yup:

Seriously, this screenshot is 100% real, no fake, although it is true that it's still in an early WIP stage... But I think that around the first or second week of July it may be totally finished... :tongue:

very excited to see this, at this point you could put anything into this mod and it will be awesome, im just glad its stayed compatible with the latest GZDoom all of this time, while you may go on hiatus, id still love you to come back to this mod from time to time but if not, it will be remembered as one of the best!

To be honest, that chick isn't too sincere... But it does have quite a bit of bad blood for sure! :lol: :lol: :lol:

And regarding the mod, let's say that progress for next update is advancing as expected, so my initial estimation has been quite precise... One or two more weeks, and I think it will become ready to release...

Hello there Doomguys! It is said that at the end everything comes, and finally the time has come, so I'm announcing to all of you -a little earlier than expected, 'cause tomorrow I might not be at home- that the new update in shape of Revision 10 is from now available and ready to download! :D

That's it mates, so after a quite long while, the H-Project mod comes again with some fresh new features and improvements, plus the usual bugfixings and optimizations...

And of course here i bring you the pertinent changelog, which is not precisely small this time... Please keep reading and don't lose track:
  • - The bestiary has been increased with a bunch of new fierce enemies, including a few newer classes of those evil Renegade Marines! Wanna meet them at a deeper detail? No problem, check them out now:
    • - Darkside Imp: a quite uncommon impie-type foe, but undoubtly much more sinister! Unlike its malicious siblings, this hellspawn can be seen floating around like a Lost Soul or similar, and at same time releasing a large darkness aura around itself. If by chance it detects you, try to be fast and not to let it react, or else it will attack you with its dangerous dark minicubes. Once it gets very low on HP, it will teleport itself to a safe place, thus leaving the battlefield and not bothering you anymore.

      - Blind Demon: another class of those disgusting 'pinkies', although this one has the peculiarity of not being able to see anything at all. Therefore, it can only locate itself and hunt its prey through its senses of hearing and smell, which are highly sharpened, as would be expected in this monstrous species. So even though they can be easy to mislead, it's best not to get too confident...

      - Blind Spectre: the ghostly variant of the above one. It will be much better for your health that you try to detect it before it detect you. Otherwise, you could receive several of its bites, which they are as painful as deadly...

      - Cacoalien: a rather hideous creature whose origins are not really defined, despite its official name... Does it come from hell dephts or from outer space? Either way, this repulsive specimen is specially fast, aggressive and dangerous, even more so than the well-known caco species. It is said that its imposing attack pattern consists of a wide, quick burst of spherical projectiles that depending on their size, can be faster or slower and more or less harmful. So watch out with this awful beast! :shock:

      - Mochtroid: yup, the crazy UAC scientists made it again... Not being happy with their experiments with murder weapons, they also had to put their dirty hands into trying to replicate those strange creatures that some time ago appeared on that extinct planet called SR-388. Fortunately, these failed clones of those native creatures did not meet the expected characteristics, neither reach the same level of danger of the aforementioned ones... Anyway, if by chance you encounter one (or more) of these, keep in mind that electric attacks are quite ineffective versus them, unlike ice-based attacks... :ugeek:

      - Renegade Markswoman: time now for the newer Renegade Marine classes! And just the same way like them, this pretty bad girl might teleport herself occasionally near your actual position and will attack you mercilessly as soon as she puts her eye on you. And seriously dude, forget trying to flirt with her, because it will be totally useless and she'll blow your head... literally.

      - Renegade Artillerywoman: another tough female marine in the mood for war... though not yours, but her own. Being of a higher rank, this femme fatale is even more dangerous than the previous one, since instead of attacking with a common L-SMG, she is equipped with a more deadly Y-Mauser. Watch your back, man!

      - Renegade Bounty Huntress: it is said that there are not two without three, right? Well, here you have the most hazardous of the new Renegade Marine sisters... Although this paid mercenary woman is more motivated by money than the war itself, it doesn't mean she pays less attention to weaponry; far from it! Her favourite gun is a powerful D-800, which fires with amazing trigger speed. Don't get cornered by her, or you'll become history very soon.

      - Renegade Saboteur: last one (but not least one) of the new Renegade party is this fearful guy which unlike the Saboteur zombie, he does not self-destruct in battle, but rather employs a quite different technique. This mate comes with a wrap-around shield made up of small thorny steel spheres, which deflect attacks such as rockets or plasma shots, thus giving him a fairly solid defense. Moreover, his main offensive tactic is throwing small grenade bombs at his opponents. He might be quite elusive and unpredictable, so be very careful when you face him! :!:
    - Luckily, and as shown some posts above, the player has from now a (small) chance to get a fearsome and totally unusual top-secret weapon in his doomish adventures! It's nothing more and nothing less than...

    (Follows in spoiler; if you mind the 'wow' factor please DO NOT open it... But otherwise, if you don't give a $#&% just open it at your own risk!)
    Spoiler:
    - Added a dual-wield mode to one of the existent secret and ultra-rare weapons (not the one described before, but another one introduced last year in the mod). Sorry, but no more clues allowed! Discover it by yourselves... :nope2:

    - Introduced a new type of special-prize ticket element: the Bronze Ticket! Along with the rare, well-known Silver and Golden Tickets, now you have a slightly higher chance than before of receiving a big prize, exchanging 10 tickets of the same category to one of the special Ticket Barter Droids. And remember that if you are not lucky enough to obtain tickets from enemies or chests, maybe you can get them alternatively through the selfless help of some Trade Shop Droids... :wink:

    - From now, the defeated enemies are able to release (quite rarely) a Golden Mistery Chest, which contains not double nor triple, but quadruple the treasures of a standard Mistery Chest! And best of all, these chest types will never hide horrible things like baddies or bombs, so don't lose sight of them! :)

    - Updated the Superdemon big boss with some new sprites and improved its previous attack pattern; now acts in a similar way like the Baron of Hell (but harder, of course).

    - The Armored Plasma Tank sprites have also been updated with a new blue-ish colour for the vehicle, and the Centipede also has received some newer sprites for its 'extreme' death mode.

    - Included a couple of new Doom Marine corpses (for preventing the Psychoparasite monster being spawned too often in certain map levels).

    - Updated the HUD for compatibility with latest secret weapons, and added a new Bronze/Silver/Golden Tickets counter.

    - Several minor bugfixes and code optimizations.
Phew... Hope I haven't forgotten anything! And if so, I would update the post if necessary, of course. =:)

Nothing more to say for now... Updated download link is awaiting for you at first post, as usual...
