Just know, Nash.. that GPUs and CPUs would rather slow down and then crash the system or simply turn off than to die a horrible melting mess.

Modern hardware does; something old as fuck like my old geforce 9800 GT would gladly run at full throttle (and that's 'full throttle' as in 'FULL SPEED AHEAD') at 110 C and die in hell.
