AWESOME! I like that! Was thinking of adding an SMG type weapon, or something more rapid fire, to offset the M16 (maybe I'll make that semi-auto and replace the plasma gun). Love what you've done with the sprite, never seen that one so good (with hands as well :D ). And love the suppressor. I'll definitely be adding that in. The question I have though...

Is this going to be the 9mm or .45ACP Ingram? Should it share ammo with the revolver/M1911? Or does nobody care as long as MORE DAKKA. Send me your thoughts.

I'm sorry for long delay and missed update. Very, very busy at home this week. I've been experimenting with some new mapping styles and adding more frames to each monster. Wanted them all to have their own personality. The Pit fiends i've finished and they are absolutely repulsive... in a good way :D.

Screenshots:
I've been expanding the map i was working on before, rather than letting it go to waste. Trying out adding multi-story levels. And a collapsed bridge using Hexen plane align.
Also, accidentally summoned more fiends than should, frankly, be allowed;
Spoiler:
Will try and update when I've close to finishing. Not a lot left to do, but then I always find something I've missed...

about mac10 ammo type, definitely goes well with 9mm or .45 Auto. otherwise, pistol rounds. not magnum, it could overcome the m16.

typically the mac10 is .45 acp but there are 9mm variants, use what u think would equate to more balance

Been trying to apocalypse-ify (it's a word) your Ingram. Any thoughts? Can anyone improve on this? Or should I just use the clean original?

I changed the hands to make use of the foregrip/strap. Not sure if the original hand was to scale...

The rest of the weapon is perfect. :D

now that looks a hella lot better than mine, tho the new hand doesnt feel too good. in fact i was originally gonna use that hand but i edited it because it really only works for wide gripped guns like the revolver and the shotgun. the new hand on it not only makes the smg look more like a pistol, how its positioned actually makes the gun look more like a traditional pistol rather than a mac 10

Basically it makes the gun thats shaped like a "T" look more like an "L", if you know what I mean. the hand on there makes it look like the grip is in the back of the gun rather than the middle of the gun like it is

also those little strap grips are never the best looking to be held, imo i'd actually have a hand wrapped around the zip locked silencer shroud than using that as a grip (tho the carry handle does look good from an aesthetic point)

Great minds think alike.

I'll add a flash to it and try it out. Now I need a good silenced burst .Wav. The duke nukem chaingun is always a favourite. But then the counterstrike forums always have some epic sounds. In RL, the ingram's suppressor is actually epic (you can literally still hear the bolt moving, the report is so silent). But then... rule of cool.

Niiiiiiiicce.

edit: Ooops, don't forget the bolt movement. It's open-bolt, so bolt would be forward on firing.

Done. The drop-sprite is sick. Love it. You're right, I'll get rid of the sling though. It would look silly standing still when the reload animation is waving around and I'd spend all night animating that.

one more small gift: home made mac10 sounds, edited from RE4, tomb raider, and rainbow six

raise, mag out, mag in, mag cock, 3 firing sounds, and a fire end (mac10s fire incredibly fast so i made sure they were beefy but short)

Thanks pal.

I'll need to work on this tomorrow. I've managed to find a few silenced sounds too. You're right, getting 'that' sound when the ROF is so fast is tricky. I've got the Ingram firing between a 3 and 2 tic pair. It's very fast, but probs nowhere near it's actual rate. Not sure you'd want to spray that much ammo when supplies are so scarce. Might have to trim it back a bit, or add the full, blistering ROF as an upgrade later ("Hey, that old smg you're using is a piece of shit! Let me fix up that bolt a bit for you, and it'll work much better".)
