Hello! This is the (long-delayed) release of weapons preview 2. Included are upgraded hud graphics, improved sounds and animations, balancing and weapon drop sprites. It's very rough at this stage, with a LOT of code that needs shrinking down and tidying up, but will coincide with the Demo release - hopefully this weekend.
The full demo will include one new weapon, three new enemies, one armour replacement (meh) and two inventory powerups/items.
Oh, and two maps - one SP, one DM. I suppose they are what have been taking up so much time.

Heh, thanks. Although the sawed off's primary fire and the assault rifle's animation look like the weapons teleport a bit. You should move the rifle down during firing and the first frame of the sawed off's up.
Question: Have there ever been any mods that add multiple ammo types, that allow secondary fires but don't act like they are two different weapons (i.e. switching ammo triggers the RELOAD animation rather than Lower/raise)?
This is just what you need. It's a grenade launcher i made last week. It uses three different ammo types and you can switch them using only alt fire. Feel free to use the code on your project. If you have any doubts about the code, i'm open to PMs and will gladly help you.
Well, some of the text can actually be ignored/cut off because are only my grenades and how they work. The rest of it, however, is really necessary, because cover all possible flaws and bugs - since the weapon is not operated by default ammo but with inventory items instead. Feel free to keep the code, use it, modify... and if you find an easier way to do a weapon like that, please let me know!
apologies for the bump but ive known that you have had a hard time trying to find a suitable automatic weapon. I know you like to make your own stuff, but i spent an hour and whipped this up for ya using the gun origin that you prefer. its more common than the mp5 and i even tossed in a snake plissken escape from new york (which if you've watched the movie you know its a post apocalyptic movie as well so it does fit). theres bolt movement on the aiming but not the back frames, didnt add a muzzle flash so you can add what you please
