For those of you running the test build of Brutal Doom v21, I've been working with cotton_disciple on a few quality-of-life improvements to this particular HXRTCHUD variant, including...
*Fully-functional meatshield damage meter, and offhand ammo count.
*An icon for the Backpack Full of Ammo! to let players know if it's in their inventory, right next to the Armor icon.
*When using the Machinegun, the double-digit Rocket bar will darken if the grenade launcher's not loaded. Should reduce unwarranted suicides by a good percentage...
*Compatibility issues with Zandronum 3.0 and GZDoom 1.8.6/2.1pre (and D-Touch, too) have been fixed. Rip and tear on the go!

How do I rescale the HUD to be bigger in GZDoom g3.2.1? The option for stretching the fullscreen HUD isn't available and adjusting the values in the scaling HUD section does nothing.
For those having trouble with the HUD version I posted, try downloading v7.7a of the BD21 variant from cotton_disciple's post on Page 2.
*Machinegun: Updated grenade launcher check due to a name-change in the DECORATE code.
*Armor Icons: Carefully recentered within the bounds of the Armor Type box.
*NEW: Auto-Adaptive HUD, depending on which of the three base classes is selected when starting a New Game.
+TACTICAL: No changes; the full HUD.
+RIFLE/PISTOL START (MODERN): Exhaust bar removed, otherwise is identical.
+CLASSIC: Lower-right overlay condensed and compacted to use the original four ammo types, no Exhaust.
