Well the vote is pretty much unanimous: elements of Another World and Unreal are welcome, as well as the occasional direct interpretation of scenes from the original game, with a minor emphasis on open exploration if I were to interpret the poll with some liberality.

I currently have a map resembling the opening scene with the pool in the works, but I'm afraid work on Doom: Another World will be slow until the holidays have passed. Yesterday was my birthday and today I received an Oculus Rift DK2 as a most wonderful gift. Between time spent with family, and my new addiction to Divinity: Original Sin, things will be kinda slow. But hopefully work on Doom: Another World will be back in full swing later in the season. :)

Thank God for the internet archive. Original dropbox link is dead, dead, deaaaaaa404'd. Luckily, for me at least, at some point the archive crawlers picked it up and now I get to experience this awesome looking bit of Doom history.

Damn, it's a shame I only discovered this today. I would've loved to create some models for it, as Another World was a major inspiration for the style of models I prefer to do nowadays in my projects. If anyone has serious plans on picking this up, drop me a line.

You mean the webarchive link that EffinghamHuffnagel posted? That works just fine for me.

Loved it! Definitely has the SNES vibe from when i played it.

As far as simulator doom mods go, i think this is the most realistic out of them

I'm so glad someone made this so i didn't have to. Hope it gets picked up again.

I'd really like to see a version that turns any mapset into Another World, so I can play the original maps with an Another World facelift. That'd at least be easier than a full translation of the original games, and give us something to sink our teeth into in the meantime.
