Not sure if it has been said before, but the archives revive the barrel "husks" left over after the explosion into normal barrels, which then cannot be blown up. may want to fix that. Also, is there anywhere that tells me what the blind guardian does? I don't seem to grasp its ability, unfortunately... And is there any neat tricks to the sword / sheath, because it seems to me the sheath simply does less damage.

The sheath has a much easier time destroying incoming projectiles, and has a longer reach than the sword. It also stuns most monsters longer than the sword does, which is great for e.g. interrupting a Baron's triple attack or stopping a Priest long enough to cut him to pieces.

The sheath can also kill things quietly, unlike Kharon itself. Good for maps that force you to be quiet lest you wake up an army of Arch-viles hidden in the walls.

I see, interesting. no wonder it goes down without me SEEING why...

By the way, not that I complain but did anyone notice the grenade launcher makes enemy projectiles "bounce" a bit? I actually find it useful since it can be used to survive pretty nasty bullet hells, but I'm unsure if this was intentional. If you dont know what I mean, fire a grenade right under an enemies shot, the shot will end up flying up and over you. very useful for hammering those living flame guys.

It wasn't intentional and was at first removed, but like you a lot of people thought it was awesome and so it was restored. :D

i think the player's smaller scale breaks some Boom maps containing voodoo dolls. one of Deus Vult II's maps gives you a shitton of full recharges and hot peppers, basically giving you the ability to turn into the Iron Maiden for the entire damn level.

speaking of the Iron Maiden, maybe the suit's armor should get stronger the more power you have? like at Slayer, it'd take quite a bit of firepower to make you take damage, but if you don't have any, it'll take considerably less hits to make you take damage. also, i'm pretty sure that the Iron Maiden is not immune to environmental damage, because also in DVII , the toxic floor hurt me. as in, drained my shields until i lost a life token.

edit: also related to becoming the Iron Maiden (just now noticed that the ARMOR is called the Iron Savior, YOU are the Iron Maiden), i feel that i'm taking more damage in the middle of a firefight using the armor when my shields are running low than if i were not wearing it at all. like the invincibility period is smaller thanks to the Savior's armor gauge. am i just imagining things here or not?

Could you maybe implent death-animations for Cyberdemons? I found myself killing them with the sword very often.

i believe it's not in because the Cyberdemon is such a huge and complex sprite compared to, say, an Imp. i don't think i've ever seen any custom death-animations for a Cyber in any mod before.

also, i noticed that the songs that plays during you being the Iron Maiden doesn't loop. that should probably be fixed, but i'm not sure how.

Hmm y'know demonsteele is a pretty metal mod at the moment but I think it could use one tiny tweak...

Maybe the cyberdemon-death could spawn some gore, at least. It's so unsatisfying to kill him...
