Re: Hocus Doom
That intro screen cracks me up when the zombie is loudly puking out a line of text Can't remember what it said...

And the amazing artwork was drawn using ONLY 16 colours. Really impressive art considering the constraints.

Re: Hocus Doom
That atwork may look better on an old crt monitor, but indeed, ther're people over there that can make 16 color only draws looks like 256 color :O
That's actually what I love in c64 stuff, like this one http://c64pixels.com/main.php

I just started crying
One little nitpick: The hud's clock touches the heart graphics, I'd increase the gap between them for more aesthetics

Re: Hocus Doom
Another fine example of superb Doom modding. My personal Cacoward for this year already goes to this one.

anyway i think someone already managed to make a mod about it on wolfenstein 3d long years ago.
They tried but nothing came of it. No release. Only screens.

Re: Hocus Doom
Impressive shots as usual, I like it
One suggestion though: I think the palm sprites that are in the map clash alot with the sprite style in the skybox. Especially that the palm trees are already heavily overused in other maps. I'd suggest picking up what you have in the skybox and use that as an actor instead for the map areas.

Re: Hocus Doom
Hi!
First of all, thanks so much for trying to make a 3D Hocus Pocus game! I was a great fan of that game when I was a kid, I was very sad to see there wasn't any sequel, and I very much appreciate this initiative.
I have a problem while trying to launch Hocus Pocus Doom: I can't manage to open the game with gzdoom...i tried to add the directories of Hocus Pocus Doom in "gzdoom-username", but it didn't work... In fact, there are two .WAD files: "hocustxt" and "hocusmap"...and it is impossible to open any of the two with gzdoom.
Has anyone got an idea of what I am expected to do?
Thanks!
PS: I possess windows 7.
