comesect nocisum wrote:How do I go about applying this to the gzdoom I have on my pc?, I'm just starting my mod journey....when I download the mod, do I just add it to the folder with everything in it? any help much appreciated.
Hi! Greetings and welcome to your mod journey. :D

The easiest way to launch this mod is to drag its .pk3 file onto your Gzdoom executable, or any shortcut to it. Alternatively, you can double click the mod and tell your computer to open .pk3 files with Gzdoom by default, and that will automatically launch the game with the mod loaded in! There are other ways of automating the mod-loading process, but those are the quickest and simplest!

Unsure if fixed already but I noticed the Spectre doesn't have the correct tag (only noticeable with hp bar mods and such). smoothspectre needs the tag "$FN_SPECTRE".

The splash effects that happen when you shoot into liquids work fine with lava/water, but nothing happens when you shoot at nukage. It splashes when jumping on it, and when bullet casings fall in, but not when bullets are shot in.

It seems to be broken on my end. Is this just a test build? Do you plan on working on this any further? I quite like all the restored features.
Ah, hi, sorry for not answering in months lol, yes just a test build that mostly need bugfixing, I hope to share a finished version soon.

When I play it (in Zandronum or LZDoom), it says this "Execution could not continue.

26 errors while parsing DECORATE scripts"

I test it with no mods (Only Doom 1 or 2) and I test it with LZDoom and Zandronum... :(

Can you please post the entire console log (preferably in a Spoiler tag)?

I can't speak for LZdoom, but Smooth Doom doesn't support Zandronum, so running it in that port is definitely liable to cause startup errors.

Oh, sorry! I was running it with another PK3 accidentally, so, no problems!
Anyways, thank you for your attention!

I miss the old monster variants - are these ever going to be re-added?

I made this a thing to implement.
I will also try to make it with PandaDoomer's XBox-style Animated M_DOOMs.
