It's not really about the size, they are too stylistically different from the rest of the armor, being sprites of 3D models.Reactor wrote:I suspected they'll be too big for ya...
Can you tell me the size? If y'do, I'll shrink'em down to the appropiate size that is.

I might file those gothic ones away for possible future use, if I may.

Re: [Request] A lot of simple armor edits
It's perfectly fine with me, I assume SoloSpaghetti would just like to be credited for it. Just about all the resources in DoomRL Arsenal are done by other people, and the stuff done by me I couldn't care less who uses them.ETTiNGRiNDER wrote:I might file those gothic ones away for possible future use, if I may.
As an armor-related update, I've gotten a good deal of the prototype armor mechanics done, I'll test it out and see if there are any flaws in how it functions, and then I'll post some pictures of these awesome armors ingame.

Of course. Just credit me.ETTiNGRiNDER wrote:I might file those gothic ones away for possible future use, if I may.

I've some internet issue right now.. so I may be less productive.
Meanwhile Yholl... I created this... I dunno what it should be. I'll leave to you the decision.

OFF ON Oh, and here they are the sprites for the Lava Armor. I don't know how to create an animated gif, but trust me, this animation works quite well.

The on and off armor sprites might be good for the power armor. *shrugs*

I reckon I might use that armor as Malek's Armor, one of the unique armors. It's quite an interesting design, that's for sure.SoloSpaghetti wrote:I've some internet issue right now.. so I may be less productive.

Also, dat lava armor. Ooooh man, that's awesome work there.
Nah, I've already got Power Armor and Medical Powerarmor sprites on the previous page, they just need a little techy panel or something on them to complete the look.twinkieman93 wrote:The on and off armor sprites might be good for the power armor. *shrugs*
Anyway, by the time I posted here again, I waaaaas hoping to have some of these armors done, but apparently using my brain at 100% capacity causes it to use so much energy it takes over 6 hours for me to sleep afterwards. So, my sleeping pattern is demolished. I have, however, finished the first prototype of the armor mechanics, so I can start adding in these new armors. I'll show off the Nanofiber Skin Armors and stuff soon.

I reckon that could be the glorious Cybernano armor.SoloSpaghetti wrote:I love you... I was going to get mad trying to reacreat the commando bandolier you asked for Malek Armor in the first topic.

Cool! It works very well!
Maybe you could add also a colored pixel in the bottom of sleeves... Don't be shy in modificating my armors, i made them for you!
EDIT. Oh... I've just seen the miniature of my last armor... It's so lovely in red! Great job!

True, but my capacity for editing them is just about limited to making little pixel lights and stuff.SoloSpaghetti wrote:Cool! It works very well!

Mmm, anyway, I've refined the armor mechanic to the point where it does not seem to break anymore, and added the Nanofiber Skin Armors and the Cybernano Armors to the game. Next I'll probably put in that sexy Lava Armor.
I did get some rather odd bugs while developing this, though. I fixed them, obviously. One was to do with the way Doom handles armor, and is boring. The other bug had the result of if you died while wearing armor, your body would not fall down, so multiplayer games would be littered with ghostly standing copies of you.

But yeah, that Cybernano Commando Armor... My god. 80% damage reduction, along with 25% fire damage reduction. And it's indestructible. If you are lucky enough to find this in Beta 4, you are pretty much set in terms of armor.

Can't wait to try and to see my babies alive!
Ah, if you need me to do some other armor don't make to much problems in asking me.

Re: [Request] A lot of simple armor edits
Just the original list, pretty much. Actually, I'll cross out the entries that have already gotten a sprite for them, so it's more clear which ones need to be done. Just check the main list, I'll update it everytime I get a new armor sprite that fits a role.SoloSpaghetti wrote:Can't wait to try and to see my babies alive!

EDIT: Hmm, what's up with the Lava Armor? There's four sprites there, but it's actually just two frames, each with an identical copy.

When you speak of energy projector what do you have in mind? Something like an antenna?
Today I'm quite busy, even so I'll try to make at least one or two armor... It's so fun!
EDIT. A little gift.
(I hope the the shade of the three colors are the right ones)
