Why the name ZDoom?

either way, I'll stick with zed-doom.
We don't speak american english where I live,but we don't speak the Queen's good english either...

HellO??!!! ZDooM isn't doom, though it is still free. I regaurd doom as the iwad, not the program that runs it. Otherwise, we could call Word and Internet Explorer and DooM Builder then Windows.

Well... When it comes to the pronunciation, I guess there is about as many versions as there are languages on this globe of ours. In the kingdom of Sweden, I guess the name we use could be described as the letter "s" infront of a "@" followed by an "a", giving "s@aDoom". There is a flow to it anyway.

I agree with Enjay. Go for Susan.
Skip the silly Doom part.

and on the name issue, i think Randy Doom would be best, although that makes it sound like some kinda porno game

Softie thinks Susan's a good idea! Heh, if I could be bothered I'd start a campaign. A campaign ultimately doomed (ahem) to fail, but a campain none the less.
