Sure. I'll PM you two archives, one with the lazy-eye soldier and the one edited by Enjay. I can't guarantee they will be flawlessly cut, but I did my job well.wildweasel wrote:Could you perchance send that to me? I extracted the sprites from the hazmat (?) trooper's sprite sheet and they are ready for my own use, and I've already made a skin file for it.

Re: Accessories to Murder (ww-doomnukem): Update 4-10
So I'm currently working on potentially implementing the Lore file into the actual game. The WW-Terror method of having an extended menu was alright, but required a lot of text alignment and testing to make sure things didn't look too stupid in-game in all aspect ratios. Currently, I'm playing with a template in Photoshop which should not only look a little nicer, but should be easier to implement as well. Here is a preview; I am soliciting feedback to make it look cooler. (Click to embiggen.)
I've also been toying with the HUD layout. There are some new screenshots in the first post. (The green overlay has been moved to the Automap.)

I take it the 4x20 is some sort of caseless contraption? Perhaps even... rolled?

That might not be a coincidence; the fine folks at Makoto Arms may or may not have been under some influence when they completely forgot to address the missing mounting bracket.Slax wrote:I take it the 4x20 is some sort of caseless contraption? Perhaps even... rolled?

One thing I failed to realize is that the shape of the hazmat guy is based on the chaingunner. But they don't have the same stances due to their differing weapons - however, there is a rifle-wielding chaingun guy in the DoomRL monster pack, and I used him as a reference to properly offset the hazmat guy.
If you want a perfectly offsetted hazmat guy (excluding the death because I have no clue how that goes), ask for it and I will deliver.

Don't worry, I got it. Offsetting isn't so much work, really.

Would you mind if you can help me out there with offsetting? Everytime I add this in the code it simply never works for me. The sprites always appear at positions I don't want to appear :/ Would you mind if you can guide me in that?wildweasel wrote:Don't worry, I got it. Offsetting isn't so much work, really.

I assume you're talking about Offsets in Decorate, as opposed to the actual alignment of sprites in SLADE. Might be better to ask someone in Editing.Onar4241 wrote:Would you mind if you can help me out there with offsetting? Everytime I add this in the code it simply never works for me.
