Careful guys. You start making wild claims like someone might be working on this and you'll go bankrupt I tell you.

Re: [Project] ZHalloween wad
I had so far resisted the temptation to make 1337 snipings and put-downs at ZHalloween by comparing it to DNF and DoomScript.
Wish I had just gone ahead and done it anyway
Hey Kirby, have fun in Ch 11

Almost 5 months to go until Halloween 2009 is missed.
Seriously, has there been any progress in recent months? I'm guessing probably not but no harm in asking eh?

This, ZDforums.wad and Zoom are the three projects from the past that I'd love to see finished

This mod is old news. Now in development is Zealously Squashing Jackolanterns into Great Big Masses of Flaming Mush.
ZSJIGBMOFM will be the game that changes everything. Forget small time amusements like ZHalloween. Prepare for the next step in gourd carnage.

Re: [Project] ZHalloween wad
I finally get to play this. I have been following this project since it started.farlowj wrote:Well, kind of as promised, but a couple days late. Here is what I have of ZHalloween wad. It is not complete by any means, it has not been tested for playability, but there is quite a bit there. I guess this is just to show that there was significant work done on it, but it just fizzled out before the project could be complete. DO NOT UPLOAD THIS TO IDGAMES. There is no text file included, so it should get rejected anyway. If someone wants to pick this up and run with it, I'll give them a list of all the contributors so credits can be properly placed. But for now, here is what I can remember of who did what:
Kirby - Project Lead, Maps 1, 3, 5 and part of the space one. Resource gathering, decorate.
Me - Maps 1, 2, 4, and intro. Minor decorate and music.
Killer_Of_Doom - Map 7, lots and lots of decorate.
Wasted_Youth, BetaSword - Map 1
Eriance - Monsters and Weapons
Others I forgot - Stuff they did that I forgot.
I won't be around that much to answer any questions, but I will pop in every couple days or so (which is about usual).
