Using the term "app" doesn't help to specify what operating system you're using. It sounds like it could be Windows, Mac or Linux.doomguy1324 wrote:i drag and drop the Doom2.wad file on the ZDoom app then it go's unresponsive
Anyways, that's more along the lines of "Don't Do That", since I'm sure ZDoom is still looking for an IWAD, and it's treating Doom2.wad as a PWAD. Try placing the IWADs in the same directly as ZDoom and just launch ZDoom normally (no click and dragging)?

Regardless, works for me., it's still 'don't do that!', though.
We need more info to see what is wrong.

With doom2.wad in that Application Support folder, open the terminal application and type (assuming ZDoom.app was installed to the system Applications folder):
And press enter. This may indicate what's causing the problem. Also, am I correct that since you're using OS X 10.4 you have a PowerPC?
Code: Select all
/Applications/ZDoom.app/Contents/MacOS/zdoom-

Do you have multiple iwads or just doom2.wad? It looks like it's hanging waiting for an iwad selection (which should show a dialog).

It shouldn't matter, but since we have a problem specific to your setup: If you remove the other iwads and just leave doom2.wad, does it work?

I've changed the build process slightly. Try this build.
