Re: [WIP - Standalone Game] Supplice
Many new standalones come out powered by GZDoom, but Supplice ranks near the top for its incredible detail and own identity. It is a unique look, and i am glad it is going the way it goes.
Stuff like this is also why you would want to work with GZDoom.

A big plus for me is that I just love Cage's art style. His contributions to Doom have always been top-notch, Ion fury looked amazing because of him and Supplice looks like it will be even more so.

A playable demo? So this game really is going to be much more than a GZDoom-powered stand-alone version of Back to Saturn X?Cage wrote:I'm proud to announce Supplice will have a two-level playable demo during Steam Next Fest taking place between October 1st and 7th!
Not that I would have minded had it been the case: a lot of time and effort went into Back to Saturn X, so it would only be fair for all of you to get compensated.

Re: [WIP - Standalone Game] Supplice
COOL!!! As expected, it is like playing a brand-new episode of Back to Saturn X, only with custom monsters and weapons made specifically for the occasion.
I am surprised that you ended up replacing Realm667's Flesh Spawn with an original enemy, though. Not that I mind, of course, but I assume the trailers are going to be eventually replaced with one more representative of the finished product?
Also, why is the player-character a non-descript grey avatar? I was under the impression from older artwork that the character was going to be feminine-presenting.
