Ah, a typical wild weasel mod. Which is a very good thing. =p I think I prefer this over NAZIS, though.

I noted that the enemies in this mod are overall easier to fight in this mod than in the Nazis one, but man was Wesker a pain in the ass to hit with the sniper rifle.
I also noted that the taser pretty much stunlocks even the bosses sometimes, not that I would mind, seeing that I don't melee much anyway.

I'm presently working on implementing the weapon upgrades system, so stuff like extra weapons and enemies is low priority for the moment. Wesker, however, could do with a behavioral overhaul, as he rarely seems to attack...

@Wildweasel - Still, even if he rarely attacks, Wesker is quite a pain in the ass to hit anyway. As for the weapon upgrades system, looking forward to those as well. Also, it was quite funny seeing the triad enforcer as the baron of hell replacement and not hearing him say "Eat lead!" when alerted.

I can't seem to find this taser everyone is talking about. At first I thought maybe it wasn't implemented yet, but according to some recent posts, people are finding it. Where's this taser? I even use IDFA and it's not appearing.
Also, what does "Change Melee Type" option do? I still peform "kicks" no matter what, if that's what it changes.
Great mod otherwise. I don't see how it's "cheesy" though, although it does make me think of Lethal Enforcers for some odd reason.

The Taser is not technically a weapon, therefore IDFA does not give it. The Taser item replaces the Chainsaw - when you have it, a red icon will appear next to the Grenades indicator. Pressing the Toggle Melee Type button will turn this icon green, making the alt-fire button use the taser instead of the kick.

Yeah, I guess I wasn't playing maps where it wasn't spawning it.

I really like this but I think it deserves its own special levels.

As always, if someone wants to make them, feel free, because I'm probably never going to get around to it.SamVision wrote:I really like this but I think it deserves its own special levels.

Wow! This is just great
I really like how well style of enemies and weapons blend together. It's time to download every 1995 city-themed wad and rescue some hostages!
Problems? Maybe it's just a personal thing but sprites of killed enemies seem to be to small (or "to squashed") comparing to "alive" ones.

Most action movie moment I've had so far: Leaped off of a cliff in a level just before a UAV pounded my prior position with rockets.
All it needed was Bruce Willis yelling "OHHHH SHIIIIITTT!!!"

Having tested this wad mod again, I'm loving it. Feels like a WildWeasel mod. Which is a good thing.

Re: Police Brutality (Weasel Presents: Terrorists!) - Downlo
okay so I was playing around with the taser and I noticed like 3 enemies have states for it, but I kind of noticed that with the current stun duration it doesn't really work well. Currently they stun for like 1 second, which is barely enough time to really do much, making it kind of useless in firefights. I'd actually suggest letting them stun for like 100 tics (and control it with a uservar loop), so that you have more time to reload or switch weapons, or generally react.
Usually when you're going to use the taser the most is going to be in close-quarters firefights where the enemies are packed together, so I'd suggest having a long stun time to allow you to stun the the more threatening enemies which will give you an opportunity window to take out some of the lower-class thugs shooting at you, and in the case of really threatening enemies like the LMG guys, it'll help balance things a bit if you don't happen to have an assault rifle handy, because SMG fire does next to no damage to them, so having the taser stun them for a longer while will open up an opportunity to run and take cover, or empty as much lead as you can into the guy while he's stunned, which would currently not be possible.

Any level recommendations for this wonderful thing?
