FeelBoss, one of the best wads I've played with brutaldoom.It's simply the best IMO.It's almost good to give you a chance on those wads with spam and spam of monsters.

Thanks Weasel I'll check it out. I had seen a few other tutorials (not as detailed as yours) and had a bit of a crack at it, but didn't have any luck getting it to work out, and so resorted to using SLADE3 to edit code and do sprite swaps, kinda took the lazy/stupid mans path on itwildweasel wrote:Have you been through my tutorials? If anyone is still interested, I finally re-uploaded the FB mod, have added 3 new weapons (berserker hands, the lost N64 Doom weapon and the "demon Tech battle rifle" I've also made quite a few changes to the weapon balance.

The guns look awesome, the shotgun's both feel and look very heavy and badass, the pump action seems a bit weird like the barrel is moving in and out, bit peculiar.
when launching there seems to be a shit load of red and yellow text that keeps scrolling,I had a number issues that seem to render the mod unplayable for me, I am using the latest svn of gzdoom and testing this with various v18 and v19 releases.
upon starting a new game the map doesn't load so I have to start a new game again to get into the map and shooting the weapon seems fine but when I kill something with it, it crashes with a fatal error, not sure what the bug is though.

Unfortunately I think it only works properly with the GZdoom engine provided in the download, just a heads up for everyone.

Could you please update this addon to work with zandronum ? I've got a buncha friends I want to show this to, but GZdoom is just too archiac to work with for them.

OK, first off, Bane hasn't visited the forums in about a year. That's your first problem. The second problem is that this thread also hasn't been posted in in about as long. You might want to have tried to contact the author before bumping the thread. Besides that, Zandronum is the archaic one, being several major updates behind the (G)ZDoom codebase. What this means is that it's very possible that Zandronum doesn't support functions this mod might use, but I haven't had a look for myself, so I could be wrong.
Please try to be more mindful of bumping old threads in the future.
