It's not the biggest level by any accepted standard. No amount of BS will change that simple fact. That's all I ever meant and anything else made out of it is by Graf's doing, not mine. I really don't care, but you guys did and do.

I actually was quite fond of how the PWAD you just made ended up getting rid of ALL the things I was objecting to regards duplicate lump names because of the obvious management mess it makes (and there was a huge disagreement with me then too because you didn't understand the message).

Which reminds me, you have a duplicate sound in there. See not even diligent efforts to avoid same prevented that from happening :arrow:

(hottie /and ghostr postings- and the rest should be experts on making people "feel like shit" - too bad I don't care about your comments eh :D )

Cut the crap. Pedantic does NOT mean not serious. Geez, not only do we want to change the definition of level size, but now the meaning of words. In fact this is the meaning of pedantic:

Although I do agree that "ostentatious" fits you like a glove. Since you seem to forget your own words this is what you said And for me that value is the true defining factor of map size. and that was meant to be serious. I suppose I could now say that I wasn't that serious to begin with either. And actually I really don't care if it is or isn't the largest level. It was mostly an interesting flaw in the level as is the duplicate lump mistake. Interesting how stuff works out.

Actually Graf, that little comment applies in spades to you. It's just that you convince most people that the bs you put out is fact, when in fact, you make it up as you go along. Reread my pastor story and see how this relates to your statements :roll: "

Yet, your argument has to do with deleting things from the level. Who says those are junk? They are part of the gameplay experience. They enhance the WAD, and the wad would in fact play differently if they were not there. Maybe your ammo count will be the same, but as you wander through you think "oh, this was made by X" and "Hm, I wonder how long until I get over there to that part made by X." If the lines were off in an invisible sector with no relevance to anything then you might have an argument here, but they clearly add something to the level, even if it's not within your definition of gameplay.

Congrats, you've created a mud-slinging argument over a difference of opinion on a topic that everyone agrees does not matter.

GOD. THINGS have NOTHING to do with level size. I never said THINGS were junk either. The extra lines in there are junk. Have said that in the very beginning and suggested to get rid of them since all they do is make for a worse node build and slow stuff down.

Level size is not an IMO, it's an accepted standard. Nobody has ever said that a level size is related to "THINGS". If that were true, then again I can take a 1 room level and instantly make "the biggest map ever".

Clearly you guys really care about this otherwise all these weird comments wouldn't come up. The mud slinging is by THIS group, not I. If you actually tried to read and understand what I write rather than quickly "sling mud" none of this would have been a problem.
