(NOT BARONS, those get over-spammed too... Throwing 50 Barons at the player isn't really much more dangerous than 50 Knights, it's just tedious.)
At the very least, a jump and a double-shotgun blast pointblank will kill Barons in Brutal Doom as well, but I get what you mean since one's just a beefier variant, and sometimes a fight shouldn't be about throwing in things with the most health.

The only time I really used a large number of one monster was E1M8.

Correct.

The only time I see a lot of Hell Nobles besides that level, is in the 1st 7 levels of Doom 2 because there aren't any Arachnotrons until Dead Simple.

It's not part of the maps, it is just the imp and zombie sounds from the Accessories to Murder mod in a separate file. :)

Post RC modified E3M1, I went to the drawing board because I didn't find the current edits to the level satisfactory.

What more could I add to MAP30? I'm not sure, maybe some projectile tossers.

Have an E3M2 screenshot :) This is a small area added to the western region of the map.

I forgot to mention that this project is an addon under the Brutal Doom ModDB page? Someone else uploaded the first RC over there.

Yeah, TheUnbeholden has uploaded quite a few Doom/2 mods to MODDB without the permission of their authors and many of said authors weren't pleased about it. x:

EDIT: Also, I didn't realize until now that a new version of Brutalized is out, heh. I'll have to try it out. :v
