Why not? :p

I may or may not do it entirely, depending on thread crowd (and my) enthusiasm.

If you want to, then by all means do it. But I wouldn't really bother since final Doom is just completely insane. :)

Just a heads up, the new Brutal Doom Arsenal works well with this map pack. ^^

I'd like to see Brutalized versions of Final Doom and Master Levels, personally (though I can understand if it doesn't happen). Having played through Brutalized Doom & Doom 2 recently, I like the aesthetic changes/additions Mr. Chris added to the levels. To me, it's a nice middle ground between id's original abstract level design and the kind of hyper-detail found in modern Doom WADs.

That and I love slaughter WADs so the gameplay changes he did for Brutalized Doom & Doom 2 are up my alley. :P

I'd love to see Brutalized Evilution---Brutalized Plutonia less so.

Brutalised Plutonia would be fun.

On coop.

On LAN with friends.

All drunk like fish.

Hello there Mr. Chris!

First of all, let me say that I absolutely love your Brutalized Doom 1 and Doom 2 mega wads. You did a really good job on expanding upon the original levels, but also in increasing the difficulty level with many of the levels. Combing these with Brutal Doom 17, and my personal health and armor regeneration mod. I've had lots of fun blowing away countless enemies, and sometimes brutally getting my arse kicked (pun intended he he.)

I just tested out your Brutalized TNT Eviloution 3 level demo, and after playing it, I had a lot of fun with it. The amount of monsters was perfect, and I loved the teleportation ambush on level 3 (Command Control) when all of the monsters ganged up on me. Nothing the good ol' minigun can't handle. However, I felt that the extra details where a bit lacking compared to your Brutalized Doom 1 and 2 mega wad. But hey, this is only a demo to see if others would like more right? So I don't think that's important at the moment ;).

Personally, I would love to see you continue with this, and created a fully brutalized TNT Eviloution. Eviloution is my favorite Commercial Doom 2 Wad, and having the pleasure of playing a Brutalized version of it would be a very fun and enjoyable experience.

Keep up the good work Mr. Chris!

I'm glad you had a lot of fun with the Doom1 & Doom2 versions, it has been revised and edited multiple times which explains their looks compared to the Evilution demo. I'm not quite sure if I will do Final Doom since Plutonia is already quite difficult, dunno about Evilution since it's also sidetracking me from actually adding to the original Doom level modifications.

This is kind of a crazy idea, but I wonder what you could do if you were to make a set of Brutalized maps from scratch, instead of based on the Doom originals?

That would probably take a really long time. lol

Although, the one thing that already comes close to that is Super Skulltag.

That'd take quite some time, and not to mention I might lose steam and enthusiasm (and mapper block) if I do too much at a time. I already have planned to add larger sections to the Doom maps so far.

In the hardcore version:
Just after the cacodemon in E1M2, the path down to the last room is blocked by a locked door, how do I open it?

The area behind the red key has a switch that opens that door.
