Torm: Looks accurate to me. I though someone had M4 but I don't recall who it was. NMN, maybe?

Please let me mod M7 before you work on it so that it will work with the intermap.

Same goes for any other maps that may change hands.

I'm itching to get some real playtesting done.

Edit: Why does it seem like more often than not I start a new page? Heh.

Deadlines?
Weren't you supposed to have music for us before Christmas?

A solid release date is much less important than a solid product when the day comes.

@Risen & Lexus - Well, yes and no, concerning the deadline being a good/bad thing... actually, I don't want this to take forever. If we don't get to any pleasing almost-final state in the next 2 weeks, I will set a deadline for it to force some of us to work :)

I think setting deadlines on individual pieces are fine, because as you've said it gives people reason to move more quickly. But, if we honestly need more time, then we should take it. I really want to get all the maps together and test them soon... I think the testing and refinement process will need more time than you might expect.

Progress: After some experimentation with camera textures, I've come up with another effect I can use for the intermap that will finish the last missing piece (showing the map you are entering) quite nicely. I'll have more when I've come up with exactly how this will work.

I just tried to upload E1M7, but the FTP won't accept the password (I'm using the latest one Krillancello gave me, dated 31/12/04)
