I rebuilt all of them with a much higher level of detail.

I added some preliminary time-of-day effects this morning before heading off to work. It actually went a lot quicker than I expected. Nighttime looks very nice, though I definitely need to add more lights to the building exteriors.

Ahem. Who is doing e1m4? C'mon, that one (right after E1m6 /methinks) needs the highest ammount of work (whole areas lay buggy).

That and E1m3, but I trust my mate on this one.

I also really don't like E1m5's beginning, too much ruckus, especially the music doesn't fit in. It's just my humble opinion, I'm not going to mess what is done already. I do my shit, You do Yours dawgz. ;)

Progress report-I'm sorry Kirby but I had to cut up a lot of Your areas :( I didn't want to, but I just could not cope with them, not only being underdetailed and buggy, I couldn't transform them to what I wanted them to be.

Map is going sweet. Just a matter of time now.

EDIT: If no one is on e1m4 I can take it. I feel strong enough for this map as well.
I don't know about e1m1's progress and this goes double for e1m3.
E1m7 is probably almost finished. In my eyes the map has very little from being done.
E1m8 is done. E1m2 is done. e1m5 is done /methinks >_<
e1m6 will be done Thursday-Friday.
how about e1m9?
Oh yeah, Tormentor, do Post e1m10-we need to test it ;)

Deja-voodoo
I posted a map that had the same problem-it crashes Zdoom. No output, no crashlog, no reason. I don't know what to do. But now, DO tell me what caused the error.

@NMN - Well, the music is E1M5, so where's the problem?`Nevertheless, not gonna change the music! And E1M10, Nightmare's working on it and I won't post it before the end of week 3 ;) I know about E1M1 progress and I already gave cccp_leha some tipps how to enhance it!

As for your map: Played around with it but didn't find anything :(

:sadno:
sorry boss, I can't read this :( If I only knew what's the problem.

E1m5-the music is quiet and terryfying and the map opens up with a massive battle, sorta ;) I'm not messing into that really :)
EDIT: ellmo, be so kind to drop on MiRc more often ^_^

Eehh... Long time no see.

I only recently started working on ZE1M3 from where I finished. I'm having good layout and architecture problems, and working prety fast., but unfortunately - there's still much to do. I also need to cope with mistakes and flaws of my proceders (only saying that NMN failed the least), and for this I sometimes scrap whole rooms to replace them with mine (that's okay, coz the scrapped rooms were almost original ID's)... But what pisses me the most is that I was completely unsatisfied with the monster layout... So I deleted them. Each single one. This means I'll have to put about 120 monsters to the map again, and means only more work for me. Maybe someone could at least do me a favor, and put the monsters in when I'm finished?

I still have four days, but I don't know If I can make it on time.
What if not?

EDIT: @NMN, can't comply. I harldy find time to map for this project.

I will fine-tune gameplay once Your done with the map. Deal?

What if You fail? You get flayed. What else?

NMN:
I'll take a look at it when I get home. Until then, please try to narrow it down so you have more useful information about what is causing it.

About M10: it is not far enough along at all to be ready to test. The architecture beta I have will be enough to think about what the exterior should be, but believe me it is not any more helpful than that.

E1M10. A super secret map combining parts of E2/3 (E3M8's battle area, the cross from E2M1 for example) together with E1 style architechture.

You're expecting too much from the phased lighting. Don't use separate phased light sequences in adjacent sectors.

I'd like to point out that every time I try to download any of the KDiZD files from the home.arcor.de URLs, I get a page stating:
- Homepage nicht erreichbar -

Leistungsumfang überschritten, siehe:

Edit: 'Tis working now. O_o!
