@tormentor: the raindrops make individual sounds when they hit the ground, i didnt use an ambient sound cause the rain in M9 varys in strength and it would have sounded odd for the rain sound to remain constant while the rainfall changes
credits: since we are using MP3s, i think ill put some IIDX remixes in there for the credits music. they are available free on the net and easy to get, so there shouldnt be any legal problems right?

credits: since we are using MP3s, i think ill put some IIDX remixes in there for the credits music. they are available free on the net and easy to get, so there shouldnt be any legal problems right?

@NMN - Thx for that By the way: I think you can work on both maps at the same time if you ask Risen honestly, as I think he is busy enough with all his other project-concerning stuff Week 1 started today and will end in one week
@Bio - Sounds even better About the Credits song: I already have one for that, I think, it is a remixed version of E1M8 but the neat thing about it is, that it doesn't sound that melancholic as the original does
@all - Once more, Which oggs(mp3s do you want to have for maps, intermission and so on?! Maybe I will do a simple complication of my "most wanteds" today and put them online here as I free enough space on my webpage to place them here, then you can consider yourself which one to use and which one not to use (but please post goot alternatives)

Yes, please do this! 2.More hellish influence (including live growth of hell's vile flesh. Bwahaha )
3.Added "Mirror" puzzle
4.Changed ending sequence a bit....
5.Rearranged Barons' appearance during the final battle..
6.Moved Shotgun.
7.Numerous Minor Changes.
I say it's pretty much done.
What I did NOT do:
1.I didn't mess with the cutscene (ahem.. what do You mean by DREAMY changes? Looks fine 2 me )
2.I stick with good ol' barons, not some mega-uber whatever creatures... and I'm not changing that...and well.. meh >_< !
No screenshots.. but I've got Stats:

1 Bad-Assed Map!

@NMN - Good job, I like the interpretation of your E1M8 try very much but I have some bugs and suggestions:
- The first hellish influence after the blue key isn't aligned correctly (the pillar)
- The orange fog-things in the hallway to the ending room look ugly
- Before the portal at the end, some lava paerts don't shine, others do. I suggest just making the floor shine in full brightness (TRANSFER_FLOORLIGHT), not the whole sectors (looks much better)
- I like the SKIN floors very much but I have a suggestion about it: Everywhere, where the floor changes the flat to these purple and beige SKIN flats, raise the floor woth about 2 or 3 pixels, so that it looks like the shit grows "on" the floor
- Please NMN, add the final SuperBarons If you won't do it, I will. In every case, they will be in but I'd be glad if you do this, because you are already working on E1M8 and I have other plans for my third week.
- Why did you replace the first soulsphere with 3 backpacks? I think you wll need it
- Fill the 2 rooms before the red key with monsters to make it harder, by now it is too easy (far too easy)
- After you killed the five barons and you get teleported back to the final room (first one), don't make the walls lower. Just wait for this after the superbarons are killed.
- After the walls lower, the sky is "completely" red, but I suggest making a light red fog (for the starsky) and then add semi-transparent fire around a new skybox, this might look much better. You get the textures for this fire from my TNT3 wad (it is orange and used in TNT3 map 02)
...so, I hope you can do this all, then E1M8 is perfect, and I will have nothing to change on the existing parts
