[Project] "Knee-Deep in ZDoom"

um, im working on M9 right now... (yes thats right, im actually actively working on it! im so happy! :') )

i have no idea what else to work on, M9 is the only map i can think of to work on, but i havent seen any of the others (except M4)

/me goes to see what other maps there are

EDIT: as i play through the whole thing, ill write a big bug report page for it okay?

Did anyone notice that the lift outside the red key stairs in E1M8 is single use?

I am having diffuculties editing (read: effectively editing) some of which include: E1M1 takes at least one minute to get out of 3D mode and 2 seconds to paste a textrue. I can only imagine what will happen in the future, as E1M1 is one of the maps with the smaller file size. Any thoughts?

What is your computer spec? I had similar problems on my 750, but the 1.5GHz I run now is much better. If this is the problem then there isn't much that can be done. Perhaps you could work on chunks of the map and have someone with a fast system reassemble them later.

Perhaps you should work on E1M7? As it has only had one work period so far it is not too unlike the original E1M7. It shouldn't be too hard on Doom Builder.

@cccp_leha - Well, just set the "Available Undo Levels" in the Options to 10 or something like that. This will speed up editing. And I have no idea why it is that slow, it's one of the smaller wads and not even as large as the "ZDCMP" when you had your turn :(?!

Hey well what do you know, I haven't posted on this topic yet :P But i'd like to see the finished version. I've wanted to see zdoom remakes of all the ol doom maps but i'd prefer to see episode 2 (I'm sure someone could make a kick arse battle with the cyberdemon with lots of neat effects)

@BioHazard - STill waiting for your other two maps! I suppose, you will take E1M8 in Week3 so you can do the cutscene and what about Week 2?

@NMN - Still waiting for elmo, please get in contact with him. If you don't get this done until sunday, I will look for someone else!

I apologize for him :( I did Spam (well.. maybe not) he's mailbox, but no reaction. Sorry to fail You guys.
But on the other hand I have to consider that the guy can be busy himself with a plethora of other stuff, like School or personal problems.
But on the third hand, he could still be playing Starcraft and don't give a jackshit about Doom. Image

Hey, what the hell? I'm locked ond loaded (and hoping I'm still needed).

I just can't lay my hands on any of the resource file (404s), and unfortunatly my largest, and most capable CPU isn't doing well right now (awaiting backup-ing, and complte format with Fdisk)... So I'm back to my lil' laptop.

I'm sure I can fisnish the map before the end of month, but I require all the files:
1. Resource
2. Weapons
3. Monsters
4. NMN's map...

goddamnit...

@ellmo - Finally ;) Okay, this is what you get: 1. Resources (including 2. Weapons and 3. Monsters) but you don't just get NMN's map, you have also to choose 2 other maps for week 3 and for week 2 ;) Please read my long post on page 73 (or 72, not sure about it) and you will know what to do!
