Any good monster replacement wads?

Post by TerminusEst13 »

See topic. Not to disparage WildWeasel's Nazis and Woolie Wool's Mutiny, as both are very good, but I'm curious about total monster replacements that don't change your weapons as well. As much as I love the iconic Doom enemies, there's only so many times you can blast away an Imp before you want to fight someone different.

Could always make one full of R667 enemies for private use, sure, but that seems kind of...last resort.

Helltricks Monster Randomizer
Mutator-compliant, meaning, no new graphics, just lump-based manipulation of assets present in the Doom IWADs.

Damn. Really doesn't seem like there's a lot.

Still, thanks a bunch. I appreciate it.
