I'm not a fan of KDiZD, but I hope Shores of ZDooM is worth it. I love Episode 2 -alot-. Keep up the good work, PLEASE!

I was so overexcited when I saw this thread that I couldn't resist but finally register here to say that this looks INCREDIBLY AWESOME and to offer some help with mapping (since you're asking for it anyway :P).
I doubt I can pm you, 'cause this is my first post here and it needs to be verified, so I'll ask for textures here, can you send them to me please?

Anyway here's some screens of one of my projects, to show my mapping style (though they're kinda old, I think I've improved a bit since this):

If you can make it look detailed, and not an absolute mess like kdizd was (e1m1, classic starting room), then I will be in awe.

The screenshots are headed in that direction, but I like the tech stuff more than the hell stuff so far.

zdoom's software renderer can render 3d floors that are not sloped or translucent.

For the new weapon, how about that nonfunctional lazer rifle thing from KDIZD. Make it functional and have it act as a sniping weapon, would replace the BFG and use cells.

Just created this rifle for TSoZD. I tried to improve upon the original by using my abandoned Doom Bible TC's sprites (modified slightly) and adding a secondary attack (bayonet). The damage has also been lowered.
