For the sprites, I would say so, yes.

In any case I prefer Fat Doom to Tall Doom - reminds me of the gool ol' days before PAL-60 was invented.

Hold on, PSX Doom was fat? Keep in mind, I live in an NTSC area (oh god I wish I had scart, and the ability to play 50hz games, but I don't), but I've never noticed this. I know it's resolution was 256x200, but I thought that it squished things horizontally to have the same aspect ratio as 320x200?scalliano wrote:At least not as fat as PSX Doom ...

Not exactly. PSX Doom's true aspect ratio is almost square. It's actually stretched horizontally to fit a 4:3 screen. Needless to say it's even fatter on a PAL screen.

While on the subject of updating Wads for compatibility I have a request. I play at 320x200 but the in-game text in TUTNT, Stronghold et al is illegible. Is it possible for this to be scaled so as to be read properly? I'm unsure if this a limitation of the engine, my knowledge or both so apologies if this is an inappropriate request.

Is the final boss song in TUTNT Juno Reactor's Navras? It does sound like it, but it sounds like it's been edited somewhat, since there's a intro on the song and the second part of the vocals can be heard clearly and is not used in the background like the original song does.

Where in particular does the edited version of the song come from?
