  • Is the resource ENTIRELY my own work?
  • If no to the previous one, do I have permission from the original author?
  • If no to the previous one, did I put a reasonable amount of work into the resource myself, such that the changes are noticeably different from the source that I could take credit for them?
If you answered no to all three, maybe you should consider taking your stuff somewhere other than the Resources forum.

[Music] Jazz Jackrabbit (Shareware levels)

Post by Blox »

So after I heard the music again, in the "Your favorite tracks from the DOS times" thread, I decided to pick it up again.
After some rushing, I came to a conclusion of actually ripping the music.

And thus I ended up here, with OpenMPT (what luck!) - and present to thee .xm rips of the tracks.

If you're sneaky about .XM, I don't know much about it. But BASICALLY, it's a MIDI with built-in instruments. In this case, the instruments are whatever the originals used.
I can do an "Extra-loud" version, though it seems quite unnecessary when you can just turn the SFX volume down, and general volume up. (Thus keeping the sound volume, but raising music volume.)
