I would gladly supply you wit' some weaponz, but they're stuffed inside .SPR file extensions...wonderful. I am wonderin' if anyone had luck openin' .SPR files somehow? If so, I'd happily use your methods. Thank you in advance!

The file extension doesn't tell me much without knowing which game they're from.

Half life uses .spr, try sprite wizard and sprite viewer.
http://www.slackiller.com/hlprograms.htm in the middle of the page, to extract, use sprite viewer.

Half-Life and Sniper don't use remotely the same engine - I somehow doubt the formats are similar enough to use a tool designed for one to open files from the other. You're welcome to try, but it doesn't sound like it'd work.

Well if the sprite viewer doesn't work, I'll just have to rip it the HARD way... ;)
