Well, given that work continues to be stupid progress is a bit slow. That said, it doesn't help that the second area is many times larger, oh well. I've been experimenting with a sort of particle water falls (you can see they only use one graphics right now and need some work) and glowing floor flats (via a very simple 3D model), thoughts?

The waterfalls look nice, but you should concentrate more on making the rest of the landscape less flat. As it stands with everything being one texture I can't tell where the shapes of any of the rock wall starts or ends

I'll be detailing the area further later, right now I wanted to get this effect looking right. I made some tweaks, hopefully it looks nice.

Just played the demo. Amazing! First person Diablo with an oldschool shooter flavour.

Looks very promising! Also are you going to implement huge wilderness area that works as a hub for those kind of dungeons? I know that woods don't work so well in Heretic but that would be amazing. Exploring forests with a bow in hands, coming across mysterious shrines, ruins... just <3 <3

The bow is just a place holder until the crystal crossbow is to where I like it, I intend to have all of the weapons be original to the mod. I am currently designing several outdoor areas that will serve both as levels and hubs much like the levels in hexen, except they will all be connected. I just made some major progress in the form of a wonderful decorate hack (custominventory based loop functions... ) that should make many features much easier to code. I still need to finish testing the last few bits of weird decorate hackery to see which features will be cut and whether or not some of the smarter AI enemies are feasible.

The next release will have a lot more content.
