Not to continue pushing the point, but it's not the childhood trauma factor that we're worrying about, it's potentially losing the webspace that ZDoom.org is hosted on. That's why I'm trying to be as careful as possible with this thread.

Yes, of course it will. Now answer this -- where has it ever been confirmed that a low-res nude sprite is enough for us to lose hosting?

(for the record, I'm kinda in the middle about showing such sprites because it *may* offend someone but I really want to know where the "violates a rule with the webhost provider" thing actually comes from)

I don't think there should be any problem long as every imaged is properly tagged as NSFW.

Although we really don't need porn posted here anyway. But there is of course a difference between nudity and porn.

And if there's the extra step of having to link off-site to it. Some workplaces check your browser's cache for pictures of that sort - it's generally better if such images never get the chance to load without the user's express permission.

I'd agree with WW on this one. It's not taking any chances and it's really not that much of a hassle for somebody to just click the link to see the picture if they want to see it.
