The original SLADE was a map editor, but (in addition to having a map editor in the end) the newest version will be a full-featured tool designed to pretty much do anything related to doom editing.

@ Pandut: I'm glad it was usefull
And here: You can use slade, but it's best you Don't convert them to Doom's pallette. Blox and I are making them "open" source, that is, in a PK3, so no conversion is needed, so transparent backgrounds work, at least on Skulltag, and I'm sure 'Nutcracker' could easily write a script to use them in Zdoom, otherwise I'm sure there's already one

I didn't even know, but, it's no wonder they look so good
He may not draw out the whole freakin image, but damn the end result is nice

I like the impaled marine. It's got a kind of painted comic book look to it that's got it's own charm.

Also, the video for the impaled human only showed how to make the boot, and some of the leg, so I'll make another video, a better one, that might skip alot, but will show the results from beggining to end.

Just keep in mind how the anatomy works while your blurring stuff....as the right leg on this guy is a bit forced. If you think of the body form as a series of cylinders, spheres, cubes, etc...Your technique will show greater results. I'm not ripping you or anything, your doing a good job.

Actually it's really hard for me to get it sometimes. When the sprite is first scaled, it's a bunch of giant squares, so I can't really see anatomy in it... but I guess I'll try to picture these things in my head as I work. Thanks
-As for the monsters, well, unfortunately I have no conrol over them, nor any of the sprites I don't make. Well, I'll be working on the pillars I never finshed... and I might try the Revenant sometime.

That's an improvement right enough - but his right leg still looks odd. The perspective doesn't quite work and just makes his lower leg look too small.

Because the last one was made in 5 minutes, so it was kinda clumsy. I tried to keep it very close to the original this time.
