Porke está muy bueno el mod, pero a nadie se le había ocurrido cómo hacerlo (y de los ke se les ocurrió, no supieron concretar la idea).

Why are you doing this?

I'm asking you respectfully here. But I have to say out loud: This is such a gigantic waste of time. Doing this on ACS has no purpose whatsoever. It was never meant for such things and it shows. Yet if you just did the same thing with some other coding language, you could do something far better.

Again, I'm saying this knowing you have great talent and perseverance to make this. Its very impressive to see this made in ACS here, but again..

becuase i have lot of reazons:

1. i dont want 100 % same as the original mk, the mod have his diferences, and will still on that way ( for example, new fatalities, friendchips, etc)

2. for my is not a waste of time, becuase i like how to apply the zdoom codes to this, in other words i like coding for zdoom.

3. is prove the zdoom engine is a powerfull engine for create lot of game styles not simply fps mods.

4. and the last, this mod will help me for create other game styles.

Why!?
For one thing, shush and calm down.

Second, there's already an established, easy to use scripting language that he got a hang of.

Third, there's already an engine with a language in place for a simple creation of actors. It is easy to test all that you've done in a matter of seconds.

Fourth, going with another engine now would waste a huge amounts of time, it'd be a lot more trouble than working with this (granted, Doom has it's own share of stupid crap, especially the things the developers implement).

Do I have to keep going on?


On another note, congrats. I was actually fooled that this was Mortal Kombat and not actually a Doom mod based off it.

Welp, pack up your stuff gentlemen. There's apparently no reason to do anything outside the norm ever, so this project despite showing major progress is clearly a waste of time and nobody should bother to put any effort into it at all.

Modding for Doom is and has always been a major waste of time, so under that logic, this community and ZDoom should not exist at all.

looka great but maybe a bit too powerful? he seems to own you every time lol, but what ive noticed over the last few vids is the smoothness and speed of the player characters..this couldve been a shot from UMK3 and I wouldnt notice the difference! very nice i must say, whatever control method youve devised it works! screw the haters dude, this is an awesome mod that pushes the zoom engine to its limits! theres nothing like this out there, and hey, this could open a whole new modding scene, we could have zstreet figher, zKOF, zeternal champions etc...you could even adapt it to scrolling beatemups such as streets of rage, goldenaxe, final fight etc etc, the possibilites are endless.
