That rivals the plot for Blaster Master!

...Shut up, I liked the reason why we're driving around in a large tank looking for a pet frog.

I love BlasterMaster. I think that was one of my first nintendo games. :)
I have a whole storyline- sortof. Once everything is done I can work more on it. There is going to be alot going on.

Made a new HUD. Wanted the fullscreen to be simple. May or may not do more with it. The BlasterRifle and UZI were cleaned up a bit.

The HUD looks awesomely oldschoolish. The font is almost reminiscent of the Sonic Genesis games, or Wacky Wheels. :D

And the map design is... well, I think a suitable word here is "awegasm".

This mod has the most unique environments in every mod I've seen. :D It would definitely be one of the most outstanding doom TCs when finished.

I would imagine so. I haven't heard anything about him charging for it, though I may be wrong.

I don't see myself charging for anything unless I make a special release with extra crap. i had a few ideas of porting it to other platforms.....but i haven't really looked into that.

Awesome cockroach crab monster thingy... Are the rotations done? Maybe make a buffer version with some spikes on his arms and larger claws? This version would rank higher in the bug hierarchy since it be tougher. I'm tempted to donate an original monster sprite to you're project, since I have so many extra parts laying around. I'll through some stuff together and see what I can come up with.

be sure to send me any beta to review. I'm suprised the things one is able to create in this port, tempted to recreate Virus Bloke.

But Virus Bloke is RPG, isn't it? RPGs aren't exactly easy to pull off in ZDoom, by any margin.

Yeah, the rotations are done, or atleast done for now. How I work is I add the basic designs and get back to them later. I drew this gal like a year ago and just finished polishing her up a bit. She either slashes you with her claws or squats and farts out baby drones. Once I get some more things done I'll be looking for help (especially with the more complicated elements of zdoom)...since this all takes so long I was thinking of creating a demo, scooping out parts of the project to do so....but I still don't have any "real" maps complete for that...unless I made some kind of deathmatch thing. But I don't think anyone would play it unless someone wanted to do something special for it. But thats still on the table. And I don't even want to think about content theft. People don't read readme files.
And Rpg crap is hard to do I suppose, atleast for me. I have been bookmarking projects around here that have features I may need in the future. Needless to say I have a million bookmarks.

Reminds of those big headed gray baddies from Xcom. I've also had some worries about content theft on my own project, but there really isn't too much you can do about it. My only way to discourage improper use would be to use inferior versions of the sprites and textures within the first initial release. Then in the final version include the better versions of both, however you will always have the original's of all the graphics so even if something was copied you have proof that you're the original author.

I would *LOVE* to see a demo but I see where you are coming from. I guess if your readme clearly states authors may not use anything from the project for reuse until the project is released, you could get the moderators to nuke any project that violates this rule. That is, until the project is released.

Still up to you. What I'd love to see even more is videos of actual levels done with a good video recording program.

Mehhhh, I'd hate to see this turn into an RPG. I see this as basically a "high powered" harmony. If possible, keep the RPG elements to a minimun or do not add any at all.

Keep up the good job!
