[Textures] Hexen texture edits.

Post by ETTiNGRiNDER »

I have a few edits of Hexen textures lying around that I'm not sure any more if I'm going to use. Here are the best ones; the Necropolis seals as separate panels, and some variants on the bookshelves that I think would be useful.

(Removed, get the Hexen texture WAD from my site for these)

I'd love to use those panels in my Hexen mod. :)

An old edit I exhumed tonight when poking around in the mess that is my doomcrap folders. Inspired by, and partially based on, the crucified marine from the gothicdm series.

Might look better if I redid the bars with something Hexen-based, but probably won't be bothered unless someone likes these, since I don't have any current plans to use them myself.

(Removed, old and junk)

I think the blood is a bit too bright, unless they've literally just been stabbed and it's pouring out :P

Obviously this is happening in the final boss chamber of some HeXen mod.

Our hero fights his way into the inner sanctum of a surviving Heresiarch, in order to stop such a foul ritual from taking place to begin with...
Only to discover he is mere seconds too late. The three heroes who slew Korax are dead; sacrificed to bring their own greatest foe back to life. He prepares himself for combat, and watches in horror as the second Serpent Rider slowly turns to meet his gaze.

Hell, if you do it right, this could even be the intro scene; just have him magically expelled (sans equipment, of course) from the castle/shrine/whatever and have to work his way back in.
