I don't suppose we can force the player to get chronic-looking-tiltedly-down-like-a-retard disease?
Also, make sure the sounds can't be played twice (through each other or rapidly behind eachother) in a row (like on that vid)

Davidos: You can. Recoil scripts already do that.
Also I think that the God ball is a bit on the fast side. Maybe tone down the speed by.. 2-5 points?

If you're referring to the Remote Ridicule, I'd recommend it should be possible to play those insults in a row and even through one another. I can recall the fun from the good ol' days!Davidos wrote:Also, make sure the sounds can't be played twice (through each other or rapidly behind eachother) in a row (like on that vid)

ALT+F10 rocked!

This is so epic I had to post.
I've always been a ROTT fan, and having a "port" of it in Doom has always been something I wanted to do, but never had the patience to actually do it. I always missed coop - it would be awesome. Will you rebuild the shareware episode?
The gravity pads look awesome. Remote Ridicule was really fun. "Where are you?" "Over here!"

Re: The Return of the Triad [TC] - Back on track.
Time for an update:
The main thing I did lately was add the original ROTT font, makes the whole thing so much better.
Multiplayer actually seems to work fine. 5hfifty and I have been playing almost every day - Its really fun.
The only problem I have is in co-op; each instance of a weapon can only be picked up once, so you can't get more ammo - anyone have any ideas how to get around that? If not I was thinking of making special ammo pickups for co-op only.
I've got the remote ridicule & god mode working a lot better since those videos.
Here's another update of some levels I'm currently working on:

I have about 3 levels in progress and 2 more planned. So it's going to be 14 singleplayer levels and 5 deathmatch levels. I'd say the whole project is about 80% complete.

I was talkin' bout godmode, the random HMMMMMMMAAHHH repeating endlessly and quick after each other 'd seem a bit lame...

The only alternative is WinRott.
Also awesome looking detail there el zee. One of my most anticipated mods for sure.

WinROTT is cool, although it's been out of dev for quite a while I think. I get random game freezes after boss battles... And the random map feature likes to bug out and crash.
