Actually, that makes slige create 1-room maps.

Thank God! I was considering switching my mod over to a gl port for just that reason. I had a few friends breeze through Foreverhood about a week ago for slime trails and there was an esitmated 350 found within the first two levels. Thanks Randy.

P.S. What exactly is the "line Stacking Issue" anyway?

You could apparently create lots of 2 sided lines on the same two vertices before now, which you could use to stack 2 sided mid textures on top of each other.

No. It really doesn't. It gives you a message,

Code: Select all

[insert text here], may be fewer rooms than expected.
and then it produces a 1 MB map. which you can't open in Doom Builder.

I have a list of command lines for Slige.

If you want to make an unnecessarily hard level:

Code: Select all

slige -bimo -bimo! -macho 100 -arena
If you want to make an unnecessarily long level:

Code: Select all

slige -rooms 175 -arena
If you're REALLY bored:

Code: Select all

slige -rooms 175 -levels 30 -arena -biwe -bimo -bimmo! -macho 100

(not that anyone would be bored enough to play through a wad like that...
If you want to be stupid:

Code: Select all

slige -rooms 2 -levels 12 -minlight 0 -arena -biwe -macho 1
If you hate your life:

Code: Select all

slige -rooms 180 -levels 9000 -minlight 0 -arena -bimo -bimo! -macho 100 -biwe

(please note that you'll need a load of MAPINFO lumps and at least 2 GB of free space for this to work)

I tested it on my system, giest. I got no error messages, in fact the execution was extremely fast (less than a few milliseconds I'm sure). However, when I fired up the game, every map (at least the first 4 or 5 I tested) were a single room with an exit switch.

It doesn't give you an alert, it gives you a message within the command window.

Meh, maybe it can't go over 1000 rooms or something. I've never actually tested a million room Slige level.

And, uh, when it comes to Slige.... what exactly is the difference between 1 million and 10 million?

Wow, RL really is an asshole.
And this is news to you, HotWax? RL needs to get his head out of there, what's he think he is, the programming god? BTW, what happened to your avatar? Was he given the JFK treatment or what (been gone a while, so it's probably an obviously late question)? ;)

Firstly, he decided to strip naked... I don't know the exact reasoning... but it happened... Then, his head A'spolded :D (See Homestar Runner :D). Finally, for swome reason he had an Arrow in his foot (I think Xaser shot it at him) and it hurt... so he said ouch... although, personally, I think the head a'sploding would hurt me a bit more :D.

As for my avatar... I saw a ghost and died...
