Heretic++ Enhanced Heretic [WIP]

maybe because you haven't posted a download link here, you did though posted a download link in skulltag forums.

anyway, it's really a very good mod. and it can be used with many heretic wads, enhancing the gameplay greatly.

Well, that's why I didn't play it. I didn't realise that there was a download available. I'm sure that I'm not the only one: hence the apparent lack of interest.

THIS IS NOT DEAD.
  • Things done:
  • Begun ACHIEVEMENTS
  • Added gore effects to the Sabreclaw
  • Fixed a plethora of bugs (Online)
  • HI-RES water, lava and sludge texture
  • HI-RES Key Gizmo orbs.

This needs some mor3 guns...er I mean more enchanted weapons with alternate fire modes.

No. No it does not.
Heretic++ is more of a graphical enhancement than a weapon mod.

noes, i thought the key gizmos looked more awesome without the hiresnes. it kinda sticks out like a sore thumb. :P

Hey, I'd like to volunteer for H++ beta testing. I may not have a huge post count here but I've played a *a lot* of doom wads (including broken/bugged ones). If I could have a slot that'd be great :D

Heretic++ is COMPLETE

*Flares and particle effects for enemy attacks
*Flares and particle effects for weapons 
*New fire effects for Wall torches, Braziers and Serpent torches
*Hi-Res Key-gizmo orbs
*Hi-Res liquid textures 
*Cleaner ice texture
*New sounds
*New sprites
*Brightmaps for weapons, sprites and textures/flats (not working in GzDOOM but work fine in ST)
*Glowing Flats Ice, Water, Lava and Sludge textures emanate an ambient glow
*A 100% working Test map and Batch Launcher
*Weapon Obituaries for DeathMatch
*Merged with SVheretic.wad to provide smooth play throughout all 5 episodes. (Credit goes to Tiger for this)
