Thanks for the updates! I am really looking forward to the new set!
By chance - and I know you're busy and have other things todo - is Project Doom still on the agenda in the far future?

Ok, I got two questions.
First, can I use this in ZDoom? (I prefer this over the original)
If so, how?
Any info is appreciated!

First, you can. How, you say? Just drag some of the soundtrack wad into the zdoom launcher and there you go.
Also it's a heck of a bump, BTW!

Well, prepare for a better bump, because I present to you the first 2016 update: http://gam.thewaitingroom.org/doom/ogg/doommus.pk3
If there's a request for it, I can put out a FLAC version. As of right now, this is OGG at quality 8 (256 Kbps). Also, if someone needs a smaller file size, I can make a lower quality OGG version.
I'd like to give a few shout outs for those of you who helped me out: First of all, Woolie Wool has been a constant help since the beginning. You rule, man. I don't think this pack would be half of what it is without you. Operation Serpent was a great way to practice more for this new version. Be sure to check it out! http://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?f= ... nt#p868963
Second shout out goes to Nash. I'm sure I don't need to introduce him to the community, but dude. The tools you gave me with music extends far beyond the scope of this project. I couldn't thank you enough for how much you helped me, man.
Third, I want to give a shout out to Siberian Tiger, who is one of the people that motivated me to redo this mod this year. You send me PMs, man, but I can never respond, so I just want to say thanks for the kind words and using my music in your projects! I really hope they serve you well. Check out his projects Morgenstern and Shadowmaker.
Next shout out goes to Capy on Twitter. They were the other person who motivated me to rework the tracks this year, probably unbeknownst to them. They just shot me a message on Twitter informing me the links were dead, and we conversed for a bit and it got me excited to redo these tracks again.
The last name drop is going to Micah Jordan, who tested out the new version of the PK3 for me to let me know if it sucked or not. He said it was good, so if they suck, I blame him! He's got two bands to check out, Repressed Anxiety Collapse and Shotgun Guy.
Lastly, possibly generically, but certainly most importantly, I want to thank everyone who has been using these packs within the last 6 years. While the project has always been sort of a personal endeavor, the feedback from you all is invaluable. I hope this new version is the kind of update you've been hoping for. Frag on and happy Dooming, everyone!

Just asking will the Unique Unused Doom Songs be done?

Re: [Music] HQ Doom Music (2016 Updates) [WIP] [Link]
I've considered it before, but a lot of the songs don't deviate too much from the originals they were inspired from or don't feel as complete. I may do it after all the other projects are complete if other people want it, but for right now, it's not in the works. Sorry!XLightningStormL wrote:Just asking will the Unique Unused Doom Songs be done?
