Original doom2.5 demon
Image
My touch up of that demon

Don't get me wrong, the original doom2.5 demon is extremely well done, the artist who created is extremely talented and dedicated, (I take my hat off to anyone who can sit through those hours of animating sprite) The doom2.5 demon, however great it is seemed unfinished in my opinion and I still don't understand why its colours were inverted from its doom3 twin, so I took it upon myself to change what I thought needed to be changed. I hope you guys approve.

Yeah, I know its been way to long, yes, but I've been beyond busy these past couple of months and then since a couple nights ago, I felt creative again.
Spoiler:
Yep this is the long over-due and still in progress map 26, Its the biggest map in the whole game, you start out in a pit of lava and ascend to the peak of the mountain, this is an overwhelming map to work on, but I'm sure for that many, this will be their favorite. With this total conversion megawad nearing completion I think about all the time I invested in this, its been rough considering the other projects I've started combined the ups and downs of everyday life and the lack of time imposed by essential responsibilities. I'm sad to say that Doom64 II will never happen, atleast not without a dedicated team, but the reality of the matter is that Boom wads are a thing of the past and have been for over a decade, I don't fully understand it myself but there's some charm that lured me to Prboom, and its with an unbiased outlook that I say; that my wad (Even with all of its wacky hacky dehacked, colormaps and exploitation of limitation) Could contend with a lot of the more sophisticated zdoom and gzdoom specific wads, but hey, maybey I've lost the few marbles I actually had, but I think that this is just the kind of old time religion that you need to remember past, and whether or not you play this on Boom, take into consideration that this is an embodiment of a decade ago, this is tribute to that time, that time when a little boy would spent hours drawing screenshots of his imaginary game, I doubt that this will ever gain much popularity, but I'm convinced that I've accomplished one the items on my bucket list, and if complete I wish I could go back time and show that little kid his dream-game.

Glad to see you're still working on this! Do you have a beta or anything you could post so we could try it out?

he gave the beta to a lot of people who just took advantage of his kindness and never reported anything never gave feedback just took the mod and said "no fuck you"

Im one of what i would guess is the few who actually gave him feedback i told him about a bug in the mapinfo that made it unplayable on GZdoom (I've since fixed this bug myself)

Oh wow! I would love to see the full version of this! I recently discovered an app called Gameception, which has the Boom engine onto Doom (i think only for IOS), and you can even download WADS, DEHACKED, and BEX patches! Once the full version of this mod is released, I just hope I can download this onto Gameception! This looks super good!

If you do post a video of it on you tube I would love to see how it turns out on a phone.

It has its own soundtrack, dont forget this wad will be fully compatible with zdoom

OMG this looks amazing! something I've longed for for a very long time. A whole new doom game in a different style. and this time its doom3. many modders put doom3 weaps or monstas in regular doom maps but that is just plain odd to me. if you're gonna do it make some decent maps too go full-bore with it...and that seems to be the case here. from what I can tell so far this seems to look really professionally designed. like a true mid/late nineties release  really looking forward to this...
