Gzdoom version 1.6.0, got it just last week. Also, the site won't let me add the savefile as an attachment, am I missing something? God, if the mod wasn't so fun, I'd just have just given up by now. Savefile is marked as .zds, if that means anything.

GZDoom 1.6.0 is from July 2012, so that's about 13 months behind "the current version", as I feared. The latest official version is GZDoom 1.8.2, and the latest development version at the time of writing this is GZDoom g1.8.1-147-g62e55d7.

Save files are in .zds format, so that's normal. Will the site allow you to upload it as a .png? Regardless, I'm afraid I'm not equipped to troubleshoot a save for such an outdated version of the engine, as it won't be compatible with the current version.

I don't get it, I got this last week. How is it outdated by twelve months? Dammit, internet. Now I just feel stupid. Hopefully, it will work.

Used 1.8.2, and still won't work.

Yes. I'm also checking if the problem repeats itself in a different file, to see if it's just an error in one specific file.

Interesting... I'd like to keep helping investigate this issue, but at the moment, I must say I'm at a loss for possible causes.
